So last Friday, I played tennis with Hubert, Chang, and Jeremy who's been in town visiting for the past week (Chang has the recap of everything we've been up to). When we arrived at stadium court at Stanford, who should be there but none other than legendary tennis coach Dick Gould. After warming up for a few minutes, we played some doubles, Hubert and Jeremy against Chang and me. At the same time, Gould was setting up and testing out ball machines, so he'd pass by our court every now and then. During the match, I served out wide, placing it in the corner of the service box for a winner. As Gould passed by, he commented, "Nice serve".
